Joint Services Open House – Air Show

Air shows are just events that I enjoy but this time it was much more challenging than in the past.  When attending these shows I have learned to bring a chair, make certain that I have a clear memory card in my camera, I have the camera battery, and some snacks and water.   All of these things I completely forgot and had to rely on my brother to borrow one of his cameras.   So, for this event the picture here are a mix of what he and I took and not having chairs, for resting, had us leaving before the final act of the Thunderbirds.   Not a great loss as I’ve seen them perform many times but we did get to see and hear the military’s newest fighter, the F35 Lighting II, an autograph from Patty Wagstaff, and got to watch the President board and depart on his trip to England.
