I have made multiple visits to the Kennedy Space Center with each time being treated to new exhibits and seeing some remarkable views such as in 2010 when the Space Shuttle Discovery was on the launch pad ready for its final flight.\u00a0 \u00a0Besides taking the bus tour to the Saturn V hanger and seeing the engineering marvel of the first moon rocket and other artifacts from that era, was the new Space Shuttle Atlantis exhibit.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

Unlike how the shuttle Discovery is displayed on its landing gear at the Udvar-Hazy museum, it is mounted in such a way to provide how it would look in orbit.\u00a0 \u00a0Viewing starts from the top of the exhibit and then to a lower level to see the underside of this spacecraft.\u00a0 \u00a0It was such an engineering feat that can only rival the shuttle itself.\u00a0 \u00a0Also, there is a presentation prior to entering the exhibit that had to be the work of Disney.\u00a0<\/p>
